Standstill !

Nightlife in Delhi is one of the few things that has been talked about a lot in the city. It all depends on how one looks at it. Delhi nightlife is one of the best and the worst thing one can experience. It's the time when all the glamour and glitter is brought into light by the youth from different parts of the country and of course different parts of the world, who have either come for their higher education or just to have a good time during their vacations.

After a short hibernation within the four walls of their homes, the pampered youth after dusk falls, start getting out in their posh luxurious cars with bursting music. The streets are filled with juvenile people dressed in their best of attires, laughing and talking. This is when the entire city comes to a standstill and it is only the world of the youth that continues to rotate, faster than ever before.

There are many options for the youth these days to spend their evening, which of course begins only at 9pm and goes on till-- well no one say. Night clubs, discotheques, coffee joints, cafe bars etc are where you can find the youngsters "chilling" as they call it. Lounges, however, are getting very popular these days where the youth hang out with their friends, meet new people, begin their summer-or one could say- all season "Romance."

However, I personally prefer house parties with very less number of people in a cozy place, with friendly people and most important of all with a bed one can just jump into as soon as one gets tired.

But no matter what one prefers, be it out in the open air on the terrace- below the stars, the clubs with sounds of thunder like music, the romantic lounges and coffee joints or cozy house parties, once you are in Delhi you are bound to say "char bajgaye lekin party abhi baaki hai" !
